Biography |

| Born in Freetown, Sierra Leone,
West Africa. Bosca grew up in
a small town called Congo Town
in the west end of Freetown, Sierra
Leone. He attended the Samaria
primary school and later the Prince
of Wales School. His introducction
to music was in a local church
choir, where he was the lead soprano
singer and soloist. He was also
actively involved in the gospel
youth fellowship of various churches
in and around the city of Freetown. |

| In 1981, he left his country
to further his musical career
by traveling tp Guinea, the Gambia,
Senegal, Ivory Coast and Mauritania;
all the while performing. He arrived
in London in the winter of 1982
and recorded his first 12"
single named Bam-Bam-Bolero and
a follow up entitled "We'll
be together" which was released
by Oval Records in 1984. Bosca
was constantly performing with
bands like African Culture and
appearing in the same ticket with
groups like Aswad, Hugh Masekela
Somosomo. |

| In 1986, Bosca was invited to
the USA to do some recordings
by New York based Indie Label.
He proceeded to record and tourin
the US where he has been based.
He has recorded and released 7
full length CD'S and did the Houston
International Festival twice and
performed on same ticket with
The Mighty Sparrow, Soukous Stars,
Sunny Ade, Angelique Kidjo. |

| Bosca is a multi-instrumentalist
who has secured a local fan based
market within the African and
Caribean audience. He has recorded
and produced a couple of albums
for up and coming Atlanta based
artists, where he currently resides
and runs his in house recording
and production studios in Atlanta,
Georgia. Bosca has performed on
numerous concerts including Monrovia
Classics, Beauty Peagants, Atlanta
Festival and many local gigs.
He has just finished a new Bosca
Banks Album ready for release.
Bosca plans to continue recording
and be on the road doing what
he loves best.. playing music. |
